The Daily Mirror conveys that they can't believe that this "idiot" Trump has been elected. Firstly, the image conveys this idea because it is the anchorage for the cover that invites us in to read further.The Stature of Liberty has her head in her hands that  clearly shows that she is horrified that Trump has been elected and she fears for America's future, shown by the apocalyptic background.  The red and black text has connotations of symbolizing danger, anger and deconstruction which strengthens the thought that Trump will destroy America.
