Examples of Postmodernism 

Music - the Beatles 'White Album was mixed with Jay- Z's 'The Black Album' by DJ Danger Mouse to create the first mashup album named 'The Grey Album' which was a mix of rap and pop.

In today's postmodernistic world many people value 'style over substance' , people are more interested in the look of something rather than its functionality. It's all about breaking the norm and defying standards in areas such as art, fashion, media and tech. Generations to come are more likely to throw away things such as feminism, modernism etc.
