Straight Outta Compton is a biopic of the rap group N.W.A consisting of Ice Cube, Easy- E, Dr. Dre and Mc Ren. The film is about the upcoming of N.W.A and the problems they faced being a black rap group in Compton. Police brutality was and still is a huge problem in America and still continues today especially towards black people, Straight Outta Compton highlights these problems in the lives of these rap artists.

Rap was huge in the late 70's, many topics included violence, women, drugs and the rap lifestyle that was thought to be ideal.
